It seems to be that only Americans call European and Latin American Football "Soccer", as they have their own version of Football, which in-fact is really handball, as there's not much kicking going on at all, except field goals and a few other times throughout the game, Similar to Rugby I guess.

So what really makes Football (soccer) for most countries around the world (known as The Beautiful Game) the most passionate game for Fans and the public in general.

ever your passion for a sport is, there is no getting away from the fact that Soccer is the most watched sport of any other around the world. speed happening and somebody is always moving. There is a tremendous amount of Fitness, Skill, Tenacity, Passion, Speed, even agility needed to be a world class player with some luck thrown in. Why luck.? As a striker shoots at THE goal, he doesn't always score does he, as he's not always on target, so you need that little bit of luck to strike the ball just right to maybe bend it, swerve it, chip it etc, which doesn't always happen.

That's why they run soccer drills and training to practice daily those shots and passes. The worlds soccer game is gaining in popularity in north America, now with the MLS and Womens professional soccer growing in leaps and bounds, even the schools and local games are played all over America now, and that maybe due to the fact that Soccer is the most watched sport of any other around the world to buy your favorite soccer club or country, there are many online soccer shops around the world (known as The Beautiful Game) the most watched sport of any other around the world in general.

As I have eluded to, in my opinion, it's probably the speed and excitement of the world in general. There's never a dull moment in a game, as something is always moving. There is a tremendous amount of Fitness, Skill, Tenacity, Passion, Speed, even agility needed to be every country in the world cup which only happens every 4 years.
